Rangers officially announce two more new signings as Hamza Igamane and Yusuf Kabadayi jet into UK.
Yusuf Kabadayi and Hamza Igamane, who would cost Rangers a total of £2.5 million, are expected to confirm their arrivals, according to Ibrox Noise.
On June 22, the Rangers press website announced that 20-year-old Bayern Munich winger Kabadayi and 21-year-old striker Igamane of FAR Rabat had arrived in the UK to complete their transfers to the Scottish Premiership’s biggest clubs.
After “tense negotiations,” Igamane is reportedly set to sign a £1.5 million contract with Rangers, while Kabadayi is expected to sign a £1 million contract to join Ibrox, despite interest from former Gers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst, who is currently in charge at Besiktas.
The summer transfer window has been extremely busy for both Philippe Clement and Nils Koppen.
Following a half-season loan, Oscar Cortes has resigned on loan, and Mohamed Diomande has joined on a permanent basis.
Additionally, it has been verified that Jefte, Clinton Nsiala, and Connor Barron are new players at Ibrox. This is because the Light Blues have once again chosen to complete their summer transfer business early.
After John Lundstram, Ryan Jack, Kemar Roofe, and Borna Barisic were released, Clement faces a significant reconstruction, therefore it’s wise to bring players in before the preseason begins.
A few players, including Sam Lammers, Jack Butland, James Tavernier, and Connor Goldson, have all been linked to moves away, so they might also be moved on this summer.
All of these new players, with the exception of Barron, who made an impression at Aberdeen last season, are unknowns in this region of the football world, so it remains to be seen if any of them will be any good.
