In an effort to strike a balance between corporate demand and fan participation, the club has engaged in lengthy talks about where they would play going forward with fans and stakeholders in recent months.

It has already been confirmed that they will play their home games at Leichhardt Oval in Sydney, four games at Campbelltown Sports Stadium, and four games at CommBank Stadium, the Parramatta Eels’ home field for the next three years.

Since both Campbelltown and Leichhardt only have an option for 2027, meaning games are set for the next two seasons, the games there will have to be squeezed around renovation projects that would limit capacity.

Over the course of the following three seasons, Magic Round in Brisbane will host the joint venture’s twelfth home game.

Options for the two suburban sites in 2027 won’t be chosen until capacity and building schedules are verified.

In a club statement confirming the reports, Shane Richardson gave an explanation of the choice.

The CEO of the club stated in the statement, “A joint venture will always face difficulties around venue selection.”

“Our supporters and members are aware that we will always act in the club’s best interests when making choices.

“We cannot decide on home grounds in the long run until we have all the information regarding stadium upgrades and building schedules.

“Playing games in Campbelltown is a significant part of it, and we are delighted and proud to continue expanding our community in the Macarthur region and the southwest.

In a similar vein, we anticipate Leichhardt Oval’s upgrades so that we can keep referring to it as our home.

“CommBank Stadium is a fantastic location for football games, offering our members first-rate amenities so they can enjoy a Wests Tigers game day experience.”

“It will additionally offer noteworthy business prospects that are essential for Wests Tigers to develop and emerge as one of the top four teams.”
