The 6-foot-5, 325-pound offensive lineman from Katy, Texas, has chosen to play for the Kansas Jayhawks, making history as the second-ever five-star high school recruit to do so.

Foster decided to transfer to Kansas and will begin classes on Sunday, June 16th, as he told JayhawkSlant. Considering that Foster was the best center available in the transfer portal this spring, the addition is significant for Kansas.

Foster was ranked as the 66th best player in the country and a four-star prospect by 247Sports when he graduated from high school in the class of 2021. In addition, he was ranked 13th in the state of Texas and sixth among players in his position.

Foster started 28 games in his tenure with the Aggies, 12 of which came in the prior campaign. The Texas native was selected as a member of the SEC All-Freshman Team and a Freshman All-American in 2021.

Foster is anticipated to compete for the Jayhawks in the shot put event in track and field in addition to playing football for Kansas.
