Eagles’ top five rankings across all offensive positions.

A few additional features, including required minicamps and OTAs… Philadelphia Eagles continue to play. There is nothing that can be done to change what occurred the previous year, or what, depending on your perspective, ought to have occurred. Like it or not, Nick Sirianni is still in the game.

There are two new coordinators: Kelen Moore, who formerly worked for a rival, and Vic Fangio, who the head coach has long desired on his staff. The latter’s ability to elevate Dak Prescott to MVP-caliber plays begs the question of what he could do to further Jalen Hurts’ career.

This season, QB1 will be in a new tax bracket. He will have to perform worthy of the new cash. Thankfully, the trek won’t be undertaken by him alone.

Quarterback.

Eagles vs. Bills: Jalen Hurts runs for winning TD in overtime, Birds win 37-34 - WHYY

1. Jalen Hurts
2. Kenny Pickett
3. Tanner McKee
4. Will Grier

This one should be rather clear. This team is led by Jalen Hurts. Tanner McKee is the emergency person, with Kenny Pickett there in case something untoward occurs. I apologize, Will Grier. You’re trying out for a different opportunity.

Philly’s top five running backs

1. Saquon Barkley
2. Will Shipley
3. Kenneth Gainwell
4. Kendall Milton
5. Tyrion Davis-Price

When players fumble in non-contact drills without pads, it gives a terrible impression. Tyrion Davis-Price left us with that impression in the spring, but even if it hadn’t happened, Kendall Milton, an undrafted rookie free agency, would still be seen as a better prospect.

All summer, all eyes will be on Kenneth Gainwell, who is listed as the second tailback on the depth chart. The coaches have faith in him. Additionally, he’s not as awful as some of his admirers claim.

But in the end, Will Shipley will surpass him as RB2 and prove to be the superior player. The former Clemson standout really has so much to adore.

The Eagles top five wide receivers

Eagles' A.J. Brown calls into Philadelphia radio station to call out hosts for 'making up' rumors | Fox News

1. A.J. Brown
1a. DeVonta Smith
3. Parris Campbell
4. Joseph Ngata

This is where the depth discussions usually start. One of the best wide receiver combinations in the game is made up of A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.

There is nothing exclusive beyond that. Before we could tweet a “Fly Eagles Fly,” DeVante Parker retired. Parris Campbell has never fulfilled the potential that many believed him to possess.

United Kingdom The only other players we’ve seen snapping for the Birds are Covey and Jospeh Ngata, and the latter only once, in the preseason of last year. Two rookies were selected by Philly. Even if we wouldn’t put them above Campbell, Covey, and Ngata just yet, is it possible for one of them to move up to the top three or five slots on the depth chart?

Who are Philly’s best tight ends?

1. Dallas Goedert
2. Grant Calcaterra
3. C.J. Uzomah
4. E.J. Jenkins
5. Albert Okwuegbunam

Well, we only trust Dallas Goedert in this situation, but there might be hope. During spring practices, Coach Sirianni brought up Grant Calcaterra by name without prompting him.

Albert O., and C.J. Uzomah? Well, huh… Yes, nobody is sure. E.J. Jenkins had a few excellent receptions during the required minicamp. Even though he weighs 245 pounds and is six feet six, he is not guaranteed a position on the roster.

The Eagles are stacked along the offensive line.

Lane Johnson says Eagles 'didn't do s—' to address struggles prior to playoff loss: 'Embarrassing' | Fox News

1. Lane Johnson
2. Landon Dickerson
3. Jordan Mailata
4. Cam Jurgens
5. Mekhi Becton
6. Tyler Steen
7. Fred Johnson
8. Matt Hennessy
9. Trevor Keegan
10. Brett Toth

Before beginning next to the G.O.A.T. at right guard the previous season, Cam Jurgens spent his whole rookie season taking mental reps behind Jason Kelce. In 2023, he didn’t allow a sack. That will be a priceless experience. He’ll complete the task. Simply wait and observe.

The depth of the O-line appears better than it has in previous seasons. Though a few express modest concerns, we believe the offensive front will hold up despite the loss of a potential Hall of Famer.
