Chelsea is set to face Brighton in the Premier League today, aiming for their fourth consecutive win. The match will take place at Stamford Bridge, kicking off at 3 PM.

Chelsea’s manager faces important choices after fringe players made a strong impression during midweek matches.

Enzo Maresca has nearly a fully fit squad to select from today as Chelsea takes on Brighton in the Premier League, with Reece James being the only confirmed absence.

The Blues welcome back midfielder Romeo Lavia, who has recovered from a hamstring issue, and Malo Gusto is also available after completing 45 minutes without any problems against Barrow in the Carabao Cup midweek.

Gusto’s return is significant as he had missed the last two league matches, especially since Maresca indicated that they are still uncertain about when James will be able to play for the first time this season.

Maresca made 11 changes for the 5-0 win over Barrow, and now faces several tough decisions as Chelsea aims for their first home league victory under his management.

Despite the impressive performance against the League Two leaders, it is likely that Maresca will revert to most of the starting lineup that secured a 3-0 victory over West Ham last Saturday.

One of the biggest dilemmas for the Chelsea manager is in attack, as Christopher Nkunku scored a hat-trick midweek, following Nicolas Jackson’s brace against West Ham.
