BREAKING: Thierry Small’s Extension Clause by Charlton Trigger

Thierry Small’s contract has a one-year extension clause that the club has activated, keeping him with Charlton until the summer of 2025.

The 19-year-old, who made his Addicks debut against Bolton Wanderers, excelled in 14 outings after joining the team in February.

“We had to trigger the one-year extension by May 15th, which is what we’ve done, and we’re pleased that Thierry will be with us next season,” Technical Director Andy Scott stated.

Since he joined us, he has performed incredibly well. We believe he has a great deal of ability and potential, therefore we’ve him an offer to sign a long-term contract. Under Nathan Jones’s direction and that of our staff, he can grow and learn and make a contribution to the team as we move forward and into the upcoming season.

“We will continue negotiations with Thierry and his agent when he returns from his break.”
