BREAKING: Nottingham Forest message prompts plea for Morgan Gibbs-White transfer by Anthony Elanga.

For Nottingham Forest to ensure their Premier League safety, Morgan Gibbs-White has been an essential player.

After an unpredictable season, Morgan Gibbs-White has expressed gratitude to Nottingham Forest supporters for their support.

The 24-year-old took to social media an hour after the Reds’ 2-1 triumph over Burnley in the season finale to summarize an incredible year.

The attacker was on the field for the entire ninety minutes at Turf Moor, where Forest finished six points clear of the relegation zone thanks to two goals from Chris Wood.

Not too long after, he wrote on X and Instagram to his followers, saying, “What a season! filled with highs and lows, but one thing has always been there: your support. We are incredibly grateful for your love and belief in us. What a club and what a city!

But teammate Anthony Elanga’s response, “Loved playing with you bro,” alarmed some responders, who questioned whether it was a prank, an error, or a sign the former Wolves player was moving on.

Some others encouraged Gibbs-White to stay at the City Ground, with one saying, “Please don’t leave.”

This comes after Gibbs-White was said to be moving to Tottenham in the summer—a trip Brennan Johnson took exactly a year prior. There are three more years left on Gibbs-White’s deal, which he signed in 2022.
