Former Cleveland Browns quarterback Bernie Kosar is managing some serious medical problems.
In a meeting with Cleveland Magazine that was distributed on Tuesday, Kosar uncovered that he has been determined to have Parkinson’s Illness and is anticipating a liver transfer because of cirrhosis. The 60-year-old said the finding was made by an autonomous NFL specialist in February. One of Kosar’s own PCPs then, at that point, let him know there is more prominent than a 90% opportunity that he will require another liver and put him on a transfer list.
Kosar said he felt extremely sick preceding the Browns’ down against the New York Jets last December however put off going to the specialist until the new year. That is the point at which he discovered that his medical problems were serious.
“My body gave out on me. The Browns drafted Kosar with the principal by and large pick in the 1985 Supplemental Draft. He burned through eight or more seasons in Cleveland and drove the group to the AFC Title Game multiple times. Kosar was named to the Ace Bowl in 1987.
Kosar proceeded to win a Super Bowl as a reinforcement with the Dallas Cowpokes in 1993 preceding completing his profession with the Miami Dolphins.
