Miami rugby quarterback moves to HBCU champion FAMU.

A former quarterback for the University of Miami football team is the most recent addition to FAMU, the reigning HBCU national champions.
Bryson Martin - QB Hit List
Martin, a quarterback from Clearview, Florida, was a member of the class of 2022 recruits. FCS powerhouse North Dakota State, FBS clubs like Colorado State and Toledo, and a pre-Deion Sanders Colorado program expressed interest in him. 247Sports, however, claims that Toledo was his only offer.

Martin ultimately made the decision to play walk-on football for Miami. He never did see the Hurricanes field, though. How, therefore, does he exchange his orange-and-green Hurricane for an orange-and-green Rattler?

He joins a Florida A&M team that is searching for Jeremy Moussa, a two-year starter, to end his career in 2023 at quarterback. Large shoes were left behind by Moussa, who led FAMU to the SWAC title, the Celebration Bowl victory, and the HBCU national championship while also being named SWAC Player of the Year. Junior Muratovic, who started one game last season, is in the quarterback room. Trey Fisher, the longtime member of the program and the son of former Texas A&M head coach Jimbo Fisher, is also a part of it. This autumn, former North Carolina A&T quarterback Alston Hooker and former Florida Atlantic quarterback Daniel Richardson will both enroll as graduate transfers.

In the MEAC-SWAC classic, Florida A&M will take on Norfolk State in Atlanta to start the season.
