BREAKING NEWS: Angel Reese boast about her superiority over Caitlin Clark after defeating the Indiana favorite in dramatic encounter.
After achieving a new benchmark in her performance, Angel Reese was able to brag about beating Caitlin Clark and the Chicago Sky, 88-87, on Sunday.
After Indiana defeated Chicago 91-83 on June 16, they will play again. Prior to that, on June 1, in the first-ever WNBA match between the collegiate rivals, the Fever defeated the Sky, 71-70.
Both rookies had outstanding performances in Chicago, but Reese’s night was especially noteworthy as she became the first WNBA rookie since A’Ja Wilson to record a double-double of 25 points or more and 15 rebounds or more.
The former LSU standout led her side to victory with 25 points and 16 rebounds.
Conversely, Clark recorded a double-double consisting of 17 points, a franchise-high 13 assists, and five rebounds.
