JUST IN: Tennessee baseball signs deal with Volunteer Club.

For the College World Series, the Tennessee baseball team traveled in elegance to Omaha.
Vols' Baseball Conference Schedule Announced
when part of a team-wide NIL agreement with the Tennessee-based organization The Volunteer Club, players donned limited-edition College World Series T-shirts when the Volunteers departed Knoxville on Wednesday afternoon. The words “The Volunteer Club” with the number 24 on the front of the jerseys alluded to 2024. The same number is also written with the word “Omaha” on the back. Players wear the collective’s name during an activation as part of a special endorsement arrangement.

The Volunteer Club partner Brandon Spurlock informed On3 that all of the players on this year’s squad received pay. It functions as a marketing effort as well. Fans can purchase jerseys to help support NIL initiatives.

Spurlock stated, “It truly demonstrates the synergy and the total buy-in from our team, our donors, the coaches, the players, and the administration at Tennessee that the entire team is wearing the collective’s name across their chests.” It’s a location we haven’t necessarily been able to visit—not just in Tennessee, but even in the NIL world during the last three years. Being named the top NIL destination in the country makes us proud.

Additionally, Tennessee is making certain that players have a chance to take advantage of their NIL in Omaha. On Saturday afternoon, autograph sessions are scheduled. In addition to other goods from the Volunteer Club, jerseys will be on sale.
