REPORTING: Paul Warne and Derby County will need to bolster their offensive line this summer.

Paul Warne will be aware that in order to avoid relegation the following season, his Derby County team will require significant upgrades during the summer transfer window.
The Rams finished second in League One, and they are making a return trip to the Championship. However, among the top six scorers, Derby County had the joint lowest score.

With 14 goals in League One the previous season, James Collins led the team in scoring, followed by Nathanial Mendez-Laing.

Collins’ contract expires next month, so there is some ambiguity around his future, but the 33-year-old would undoubtedly be a valuable contributor for the Rams’ championship run.

But even with his aims met, Derby County won’t be in the second division by this time next year. Warne needs more quality, and a move for Adama Sidibeh at St Johnstone might provide him with some.
