Journalist Alan Nixon claims that Peterborough United and Wigan Athletic are vying for Altrincham forward Chris Conn-Clarke, who is also being watched by Ipswich Town.

Conn-Clarke has had an incredible season with Altrincham in the National League, but he is expected to leave because the Greater Manchester team was not promoted.

The attacker is reportedly attracting interest from Ipswich, who are currently in the Premier League, while Peterborough has previously had a bid rejected.

Posh are moving early, even before the season is over, because they still want Conn-Clarke, but Wigan is putting up a fight.
This summer, Wigan intends to invest in strengthening in order to challenge for promotion from League One the following season.

Conn-Clarke is a non-league player that Peterborough believes has the potential to be their next big thing.

A prospective charge of £250,000 has been suggested for the Altrincham guy.

Ipswich, the newest team in the Premier League, may make an approach, while Portsmouth has also been connected to Conn-Clarke.
