Kansas State lands a new Linebacker, Kaden McMahan

According to a source who spoke with Matt Zenitz of 247Sports, Kaden McMahan, a junior college transfer, has committed to Kansas State.

A number of Power Four colleges expressed interest in the 6-foot-4, 215-pound athlete, but in the end, he will pick the Wildcats.

247Sports rates McMahan as a three-star recruit. The Tyler J.C. product checks in at No. 16 linebacker and is ranked No. 138 overall in the JUCO rankings.

McMahan was once set to attend TCU, but the Texas native’s intentions were altered due to coaching changes. McMahan at Liberty Hill High School in Texas first pledged to the Army.

Chris Klieman is hoping to build on his previous success in attracting JUCO transfers from Texas. McMahan, a dynamic athlete, gives K-State’s linebacker room more options for the 2024 campaign.
